Moscow-Nice train ticket to cost from 306 euros

MOSCOW. Aug 26 (Interfax) - An adult passenger on the Russian Railways train to Nice will have to pay over 306 euros. Traffic starts on September 23, the railroad company said.

A first class ticket will cost 459 euros, and a VIP ticket will be sold for 1,050 euros.

Tickets will be sold with 44% and 26% discounts to passengers younger than twelve and older than 60. There will be special offers to groups and families with children.

A group occupying the whole compartment will be permitted to carry dogs, birds and other small pets without an additional charge. The ticket price includes transportation of 35 kilograms of luggage per adult and 15 kilograms of luggage per child.

Tickets are already on sale.

The Moscow-Nice train will be available once a week. The train will depart from Moscow's Belorussky Rail Terminal on Thursday and arrive in Nice on Saturday. The trip back will start on Sunday and end on Tuesday.

The train will pass through Vyazma and Smolensk in Russia, Orsha, Minsk and Brest in Belarus, Terespol, Warsaw, Katowice and Zebrzydowice in Poland, Bohumin in the Czech Republic, Vienna, Linz and Innsbruck in Austria, Bolzano, Verona, Milan, Genoa, San Remo, Bordighera and Ventimiglia in Italy and Menton in France.
