Kazcommercebank IFRS assets grow 0.7% in H1

ALMATY. Aug 27 (Interfax) - The biggest bank in Kazakhstan, Kazcommercebank, grew its assets 0.7% to 2.605 trillion tenge in H1, the bank said.

According to Kazcommercebank's financial report to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the bank's obligations increased 0.4% to 2.207 trillion tenge and its equity 2.3% to 398.4 billion tenge.

H1 net profits were up 3% year-on-year at 10.2 billion tenge.

Kazcommercebank ended 2009 in ninth place by assets among banks in the Commonwealth of Independent States and 1st in Kazakhstan on the Interfax-1000: CIS Banks ranking.
