Sheremetyevo eyes 19% growth in passengers in 2010
MOSCOW. Sept 3 (Interfax) - Moscow's Sheremetyevo International Airport could boost passenger throughput 19% to 17.5 million in 2010, from 14.7 million in 2009, the airport said in a statement.
Freight could reach 215,000 tonnes, and the number of incoming and outgoing flights more than 178,000.
The wholly state-owned Sheremetyevo handled 10.621 million passengers in January-July, 32.8% more than in the same period of last year.
