Dollar up, euro edges down on MICEX

MOSCOW. Sept 7 (Interfax) - The dollar is gaining and the euro edging down against the ruble as it corrects down in the Forex market.

The dollar rose 7.5-10.5 kopecks to 30.70-30.73 rubles/$1 in Tom deals in the first few minutes on the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX). This is 12-15 kopecks above today's official rate.

The euro opened at around 39.33 rubles/EUR1, which is 14 kopecks below yesterday's close and today's official rate.

The dual currency basket ($0.55 and EUR 0.45) opened the day at 34.6 rubles, or level with yesterday's closing value.
