CIS Economic Court grants Russia
MINSK. Sept 7 (Interfax) - The board of the CIS Economic Court has decided to rule in favor of Russia's petition seeking an out-of-court settlement in a dispute with the Belarusian government, which accuses Russia of charging export duties on petroleum products unlawfully.
The court, however, rejected the Belarusian side's petition seeking a temporary cancellation of these export duties.
The next court session hearing the Belarusian government's lawsuit against Russia will be held on October 7.
CIS Economic Court spokesman Vladimir Vinnik said that the sides could discuss a possible mechanism to sort out the dispute through an out-of-court settlement until the next court session.
