Russian international reserves up $1.5 bln in week
MOSCOW. Sept 9 (Interfax) - Russia's international reserves grew $1.5 billion to $477.3 billion in the week to September 3, the Central Bank said on Thursday.
The reserves stood at $475.8 billion on August 27.
They consist of highly liquid financial assets at the disposal of the CB and Russian government, including foreign currency, monetary gold, special drawing rights, the reserve position at the IMF and other reserve assets.
