Hayward to replace Inglis on TNK-BP board of directors

MOSCOW. Sept 10 (Interfax) - BP CEO Tony Hayward, who is stepping down from his post in October, will take Andy Inglis' seat on the TNK-BP board of directors, BP's office in Russia told Interfax.

The TNK-BP board currently has 11 members: four each from BP and the Russian consortium AAR, and three independent directors.

In 2007 Inglis replaced Hayward as chief executive of exploration and production at BP. At the time Inglis was managing director of BP. He is a member of the board of directors and the management board.

Inglis is in charge of upstream in international operations, in Russia, the Caspian region, the Middle East, North and South Africa, Canada, the Caribbean and South America, Indonesia and Vietnam. He led BP's deepwater projects in the Gulf of Mexico in 1997.

Robert Dudley will become BP's CEO on October 1.
