Real incomes in Russia grow 7.9% in August - Rosstat
MOSCOW. Sept 17 (Interfax) - Real disposable incomes in Russia grew 7.9% year-on-year in August and 5.6% in January-August, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said.
They were down 2.9% in real terms from July.
Nominal incomes averaged at 18,460 rubles, up 114% from August last year. The nominal wage due averaged at 20,900 rubles per month, or 13.1% higher than in August last year.
The real wage, adjusted for inflation, grew 6.6% year-on-year in August and 5.1% in January-August.
Real incomes grew 2.3% in 2009.
