Commission to assess ONGC for Trebs-Titov tender

MOSCOW. Sept 21 (Interfax) - A government commission will assess whether Nord Imperial, a member of India's ONGC group, is eligible to bid at a tender for the rights to the big Trebs-Titov oil fields in the Nenets Autonomous District, Russian Natural Resources Minister Yury Trutnev said at a briefing.

"ONGC will bid at the tender if the government allows," Trutnev said.

He also said the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) would analyze the structure OJSC Samotlorneftegaz, which has also registered to bid.

""It's certain that the foreign investments commission will assess ONGC for the Trebs-Titov tender. Samotlorneftegaz will probably be assessed too. They need to look at the capital structure," Trutnev said.
