Norilsk Nickel board rejects new elections
MOSCOW. Sept 23 (Interfax) - The board of directors of MMC Norilsk Nickel has rejected the idea of holding new elections, board chairman Vasily Titov told journalists.
The position is set out in a report prepared by the board for the upcoming extraordinary shareholders' meeting. The report was approved by 10 of the 12 board members present. Oleg Deripaska did not attend.
"We proposed not holding new elections to the board, and if shareholders decide to hold elections anyway, to elect the same people," Titov said.
