TNK-BP to contest lack of access to Trebs-Titov tender
MOSCOW. Sept 29 (Interfax) - Russian-British oil company TNK-BP will challenge its subsidiary OJSC Samotlorneftegas's lack of access to the competition for Trebs and Titov deposit rights, TNK-BP's deputy CEO, Maxim Barsky, told reporters on Wednesday.
"I cannot say what the disputation strategy will be, but we intend to do it," Barsky said.
"We are not considering creating a joint venture [for the deposits] at this time. We want to reestablish our rights [to take part in the competition]," he said.
