Russia could sell 4.11% of Federal Grid Co
MOSCOW. Oct 20 (Interfax) - Russia could start preparing to sell 4.11% of Federal Grid Company (FGC , in which it owns 79.11% of the shares, immediately, First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov told reporters.
"We're ready to start preparing to sell 4.11% of FGC immediately," Shuvalov said.
But the state is not yet ready to sell more of the grid company because its shares aren't trading highly enough, he said. "We'd be prepared to reduce our stake to controlling if the company significantly increases its capitalization," he said.
