Government gives overall approval to energy conservation program

MOSCOW. Oct 21 (Interfax) - The Russian government has given overall approval to the energy conservation program, Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko said.

"The program has been approved in principle. There were some minor comments that the colleagues made concerning technical revisions," Shmatko said at a briefing on Thursday.
