Armenian production of ferromolybdenum up 4% in Jan-Sept

YEREVAN. Nov 1 (Interfax) - Production of ferromolybdenum in Armenia went up by 3.9% year-on-year to 3,848 tonnes in January-September 2010, the country's National Statistics Service.

Production of molybdenum went up by 0.8% to 6,372 tonnes.

Production of converted copper went up by 5.6% to 5,488 tonnes while copper concentrate output increased by 43.6% to 88,527 tonnes.

Production of aluminum foil increased by 16.3% to 18,008 tonnes while aluminum roll decreased by 34.5% to 23 tonnes.

Production of zinc concentrate went up by 130% to 9,553 tonnes in the nine months.

Most metals produced in Armenia are primarily exported to Europe.
