Enel OGK-5 sees IFRS net profit go up by 66% to 4.6 bln rubles in 9 mths

MOSCOW. Nov 2 (Interfax) - OJSC Enel OGK-5 increased its net profit according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) by 66% year-on-year to 4.608 billion rubles in January-September 2010, the company said.

The company's sale revenue from its operations went up by 29% to 37.697 billion rubles owing to rising electricity output and increasing electricity prices on the open market.

The genco's EBITDA came to 8.309 billion rubles, a year-on-year increase of 43%.

Enel OGK-5 includes the Konakovskaya, Sredneuralskaya, Reftinskaya and Nevinnomysskaya GRES power plants with 8,672 megawatts of installed capacity.
