Industrial production in Kazakhstan up to 10.4% in Jan-Oct
ASTANA. Nov 15 (Interfax) - Total industrial production in Kazakhstan went up by 10.4% year-on-year to 9.455 trillion tenge (147.53/$1 on November 15, 2010) in January-October 2010, the state statistics agency said.
Production increases were posted in 14 Kazakh regions. Decreases of 2.2% and 0.6% were posted in Western Kazakhstan and North Kazakhstan, respectively.
Mining production went up by 5.4% to 5.8 trillion tenge in the ten months, manufacturing - 18.7% to 3 trillion tenge, electricity, gas and air condition provision - 6.5% to 560.9 billion rubles and water supply - 5.5% to 90.9 billion tenge.
