Azerbaijan ups oil output 1.6%, gas 14.4% in 10 mths

BAKU. Nov 19 (Interfax) - Azerbaijan raised oil production 1.6% year-on-year in January-October to 42.325 million tonnes, the State Statistics Committee said.

Gas production rose 14.4% to 22.2 billion cubic meters.

The country is targeting oil production of 51.962 million tonnes and gas production of 27.079 bcm in 2010 as a whole.
