Belarus ready to sign CES agreements till year's end
MINSK. Nov 25 (Interfax) - Belarus intends to sign the main documents on a common economic space (CES) with Russia and Kazakhstan before the end of the year, Andrei Savinykh, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry's press secretary, told reporters on Thursday.
"Belarus is also ready to launch the necessary ratification procedures," he said.
"We are thus taking the lead in integration processes within the CES framework," the spokesman said, adding that Russia and Kazakhstan were also stepping up efforts.
"We hope the CES will take effect within the shortest possible time," the diplomat said.
