Medvedev suggests 100-times fines for bribery
MOSCOW. Nov 30 (Interfax) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev suggested that bribery be punished with fines of 100 times the amount of the bribe.
"It seems economic measures in the form of fines could be more productive and those who offer and accept bribes could be punished by being fines 100 times the bribe," Medvedev said in his address to the Federal Assembly.
