Vimpelcom's net profit up 46% in Q3 against previous quarter - analysts
MOSCOW. Dec 1 (Interfax) - Banking and investment analysts expect Vimpelcom Ltd.'s US GAAP net profit to increase by 46% to $507.8 million for the third quarter of 2010 from $347.7 million pro forma as posted for the second quarter.
The average forecast on the company's sales revenue for this period comes to $2.831 billion, OIBDA - $1.369 billion and OIBDA margin - 48.3%.
The experts said that a seasonal boost in demand for roaming services and rising revenues from data transfer will facilitate the increase in sales revenue, as well as the consolidation of Kyivstar's results (these results were only consolidated for two months in the second quarter).
