Entrepreneurs protest new Tax Code in Kyiv
KYIV. Dec 2 (Interfax) - Entrepreneurs protesting at the Independence Square in Kyiv have said that they expected the Ukrainian president to impose a full veto on the Tax Code and elaboration of a new document.
"Unfortunately, this was not a veto of the Tax Code. As far as we understood, the president talked about a veto, but what he actually did was just proposals to the Code," Volodymyr Dorosh of the National Coordination Council of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs told Interfax, commenting on the approval of a new version of the Code with presidential proposals on Thursday.
"So, the opinion of entrepreneurs with whom I have spoken so far - 'we were dumped.' Our clear position is a full veto," Dorosh said.
