Medvedev orders concept for new law on procurement
MOSCOW. Dec 7 (Interfax) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has ordered the Russian government to develop a concept for the new federal law regarding government contracts for supply of goods and provision of services for state and municipal needs.
The concept must reflect "the gained experience and meet the tasks of modernization and innovative economic development," according to the list of Medvedev's instructions on the implementation of the Russian presidential address to the Federal Assembly, released by the Kremlin on Tuesday.
The concept of the new law must be developed by April 1, 2011.
