Medvedev to take part in Customs Union, EurAsEC summits
MOSCOW. Dec 9 (Interfax) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will take part in summits of a number of multilateral organizations to take place in Moscow on December 9-10, the Kremlin press service reported.
The Supreme Body of the Customs Union and the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) Interstate Council will hold their session on December 9.
A session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Collective Security Council and a meeting of the CIS council of heads of state are scheduled for December 10.
The EurAsEC Interstate Council plans to address a number of documents related to the formation of the Belarusian-Kazakh-Russian common economic area on Thursday.
The session's agenda published on the Customs Union commission website says that the participants should listen to a report by Secretary-General Sergei Glazyev on the implementation of international treaties on forming the Customs Union within the EurAsEC.
