Rosstat raises GDP growth estimate for Jan-Sept to 3.7%

MOSCOW. Dec 10 (Interfax) - Russia's Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) has improved its GDP forecast for Q1-Q3 from 3.6% as previously to 3.7%, Rosstat said.

The quarterly GDP-growth estimates remain as before: 3.1% year-on-year for Q1, 5.2% for Q2, and 2.7% for Q3.

GDP in current prices came to 11.683 trillion rubles in current prices in Q3. The GDP deflator index for the quarter was 108.2% relative to Q3 2009.

Jan-Sept 2010 GDP volume was 32.416 trillion rubles.
