RTS index up 0.5% to 1721.01 pts as Monday trading begins

MOSCOW. Dec 13 (Interfax) - Share-trading on the Russian Trading System began Monday with the RTS index gaining 0.47% to 1721.01 points and many benchmark shares up within 1%.
