Kazakhstan ups aluminum, copper output, cuts zinc in 11 mths

ALMATY. Dec 13 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan increased primary aluminum production 8.1% year-on-year in January-November to 1.707 million tonnes and refined copper production 3.6% to 299,190 tonnes year-on-year-on-year, the State Statistics Agency said.

Unprocessed zinc production fell 3.3% to 291,764 tonnes.

Bauxite production grew 3.6% year-on-year to 4.884 million tonnes, copper ore grew 4.1% to 29.192 million tonnes, copper-zinc ore production fell 5.8% to 4.386 million tonnes, lead-zinc ore fell 5.6% to 6.186 million tonnes, copper in concentrate fell 6% to 351,600 tonnes, lead in concentrate fell 13% to 32,000 tonnes and zinc in concentrate fell 6.1% to 362,200 tonnes.
