MOSCOW. Dec 16 (Interfax) - The creation of a financial markets mega-regulator in Russia has been removed from the agenda for a December 21 meeting of the presidential financial markets council, Vladimir Milovidov, head of the Federal Financial Markets Service (FFMS), told reporters.

Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Kudrin, who is also the country's finance minister, has proposed discussing a merger between the FFMS and the Federal Insurance Oversight Service at the council's December meeting.
