Madura Holding bows out of Silvinit shareholder ranks

PERM. Dec 20 (Interfax) - Madura Holding Ltd, controlled by Dmitry Rybolovlev, has departed the ranks of shareholders in Russian fertilizer-maker OJSC Silvinit , selling off its 20% stake, Silvinit said in a statement.

Meanwhile, the company Otkritie Securities Ltd has become a new Silvinit shareholder, buying 199.99998% of the company's stock. The fund Otkritie Securities is part of the financial company Otkritie.

Silvinit learned of these changes on December 20.

On August 16, Silvinit announced that 44% of its stock had changed hands. It was officially revealed in September that Forman Commercial Ltd had acquired 24% and Fenguard Ltd 20%.

Fenguard Ltd belongs to Anatoly Skurov, co-owner of the coal company Sibuglemet, and Forman Commercial Limited to Zelimkhan Mutsoyev, deputy chair of the State Duma international affairs committee.

Hustell Trading Ltd, which earlier owned 19.31% of ordinary shares, IBH Beteiligungs - und Handeslges m.b.H. (13.35%), RI Realinvest (13.34%), and Eventus Aktiengesellschaft (6.35%) are also no longer shareholders.

According to unconfirmed reports, the controlling Silvinit stake was held earlier by company General Director Pyotr Kondrashov and his partner Anatoly Lomakin.

Silvinit is developing the Verkhnekamskoye potassium-magnesium salt field, the only one in Russia, which holds 3.8 billion tonnes of ore.
