Medvedev orders top law office to take up Moscow airport chaos
MOSCOW. Dec 28 (Interfax) - President Dmitry Medvedev has ordered Prosecutor General Yury Chaika to check the operation of Moscow's airports and related companies after crowds of passengers were stranded at Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo airports as a result of power outages, the Kremlin said on Tuesday.
Medvedev instructed the prosecutor general's office to check whether companies running the airports and related services had been complying with legislation on air transportation and on passenger emergency services, the president's office said in a press release.
