Former Russian lawmaker gets sentenced to life in prison
MOSCOW. Dec 28 (Interfax) - The Moscow City Court on Tuesday passed a life prison sentence to Igor Izmestyev, a former member of the Federation Council, the upper house of Russia's parliament, where he represented the Russian Republic of Bashkortostan.
