Aeroflot liquidates representative office in Vilnius
MOSCOW. Jan 13 (Interfax) - OJSC Aeroflot Russian Airlines' board of directors has decided to liquidate the company's representative office in Vilnius, Lithuania, Aeroflot said in a statement on the board's meeting held on December 23, 2010.
An Aeroflot spokesperson said that the office was being closed since the company has stopped flying to Vilnius.
The board also approved the leasing and sub-leasing of fibre-optic and telephone lines between Aeroflot and OJSC Terminal.
Aeroflot is Russia's leading airline. The state is the largest shareholders with 51.17%. The company flew 10.4 million people in January-November 2010, up 30% year-on-year.
