Kazakh economy could grow 4-5% in 2011, prices 6%-8%
ASTANA. Jan 18 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan's economy is expected to grow 4%-5% in 2011, Economic Development and Trade Minister Zhanar Aitzhanova said at a government meeting.
"Economic policy in 2011 will ensure real GDP growth at 4-5% and keep inflation within the corridor of 6-8%," she said.
Kazakhstan's economy grew 7% in 2010, while annual inflation was 7.8%.
Aitzhanova said Kazakhstan's reserves, including the National Funds, totaled approximately $59 billion as at the end of 2010.
