Sibneftegaz could up output 4% to 10.3 bcm in 2011 - source

MOSCOW. Jan 21 (Interfax) - OJSC Sibneftegaz, a gas producer that was taken over by OJSC NOVATEK towards the end of last year, has obtained permits to pump 10.3 billion cubic meters of gas through the United Gas Transmission System (UGTS) in 2011, a source with knowledge of the situation told Interfax.

The company supplied 9.9 bcm in 2010.

Alexander Krasnenkov, its board chairman, told Interfax this time last year that Gazprom had allowed it to extract and pump around 10 bcm of gas through the pipeline system in 2010.

Gazprombank and Itera were the main Sibneftegaz shareholders for most of last year, with 51% and 49%, respectively.
