Russia the world No. 4 steel producer in 2010 - Worldsteel
BRUSSELS. Jan 21 (Interfax) - Russia was the world's fourth biggest steel producer in 2010, the Worldsteel association said.
Russia raised steel output 11.7% to 67 million tonnes, Worldsteel said.
The 66 countries that filed data with the association increased output 15% to a record 1.414 billion tonnes.
The biggest producers were China with 626.7 million tonnes, Japan - 109.6 million tonnes and the United States - 80.6 million tonnes.
