Chelyabinsk plant ups ferroalloy output 7% in 2010

CHELYABINSK. Jan 24 (Interfax) - Chelyabinsk Electrometallurgical Plant (ChEMK), Russia's biggest ferroalloy producer, raised output 7.4% in 2010 to 661,500 tonnes of ferroalloys, the company told Interfax.

Ferroalloy production fell 0.5% in 2009 to 662,000 tonnes.

LLC Perant and its affiliate LLC Prompererabotka own 99.5% of ChEMK.
