Sakhalin-1 budget for 2011 approved at $3.11 bln - source

MOSCOW. Jan 25 (Interfax) - The Authorized Government Body has approved the budget for the Sakhalin-1 production-sharing project in 2011 at $3.11 billion, a source in the Energy Ministry told Interfax.

The Authorized Government Body approved the entire program of operations in the current year.

The project budget for 2011 is 15% higher than the budget for 2010, which was only approved last December.
