Levitin to leave Sheremetyevo's board of directors in June
MOSCOW. May 4 (Interfax) - Russia's Transportation Minister Igor Levitin will leave the board of directors at OJSC Sheremetyevo International Airport after the company's annual shareholder meeting, the airport's general director, Mikhail Vasilenko, told journalists on Wednesday.
"Levitin will carry out his obligations prior to the annual shareholder meeting," he said, adding that the meeting would take place at the end of June.
He added that several candidates to replace Levitin have been presented by the state and ministries but he declined to name these people. "The candidacies are being agreed upon," Vasilenko said.
Levitin will also step down as chairman of the board of directors at OJSC Aeroflot - Russian Airlines on June 29.
