Dollar rises against ruble, euro declines

MOSCOW. June 10 (Interfax) - The dollar gained against the ruble and the euro was lower at the open of trading on the MICEX currency exchange on Friday. The ruble continued to strengthen against the Central Bank's currency basket on favorable externals.

The dollar was at 27.76-27.78 rubles/$1, 1-2 above the previous close and 6-7 kopecks above the official exchange rate.

The euro was at 40.245 rubles/EUR1, 9.5 kopecks below the previous close and 28 kopecks below the official exchange rate.

The bicurrency basket ($0.55 and 0.45 euro) was at 33.385 rubles, 3.5 kopecks below the previous close.
