RTS to move Rostelecom prefs from A list 2nd level Aug 1

MOSCOW. July 29 (Interfax) - The Russian Trading System will as of August 1 be moving the preferred shares of OJSC Rostelecom from its second level A quotation list to the list of securities admitted to trading without undergoing listing procedures, the RTS said on Friday.

Rostelecom told Interfax that the exchange made this decision in light of the fact that the volume of trading in the company's prefs does not meet requirements for being on the A list. The bulk of trading in these securities takes place on the MICEX, the company said.

Ordinary shares in OJSC Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant (CZP) are to be moved off the B list.
