TGK-9 replaces board chairman, IES' other three gencos keep current board chairs
MOSCOW. Aug 8 (Interfax) - Generating company OJSC TGK-9 , at the base of which IES Holding is consolidating its power assets, has replaced the chairman of its board of directors with IES' deputy general director for corporate management, Yakov Tesis, the power holding said in a statement.
The chairman of TGK-9's previous board was IES' director organizational development and personnel management, Pavel Shchedrovitsky.
Shchedrovitsky continues to head the board of directors at OJSC Volga TGK (TGK-7).
IES Holding's director for partnership with the state authorities and strategic communications, Marat Bashirov, was reelected chairman of the board of directors at OJSC TGK-5 . The director of Prosperity Capital Management, Alexander Branis, was reelected the chairman at OJSC TGK-6 .
Gencos TGK-5, TGK-6, TGK-7, TGK-9 and several regional power sales companies are the key assets in the IES-Holding. Total installed capacity for electricity generation comes to 15.8 gigawatts and heat - 67,800 Gcal per hour. The holding is consolidating these assets at TGK-9. IES Holding's power business will be merged with Gazpromenergoholding in the future.
