Sextet to respond to Iranian ideas at Moscow negotiations - EU representative

MOSCOW. June 18 (Interfax) - Solutions to the Iranian nuclear problem suggested by Tehran will be discussed at the Moscow meeting of the sextet and an Iranian delegation, although the proposals are not specific enough, Michael Mann, press secretary of EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton, told reporters in Moscow on Monday.

He said the sextet had presented its proposals in writing and the proposals were concrete.

Mann also said that the Iranians had suggested certain ideas, as well. He said the ideas were not specific but the sextet would naturally answer the questions Iran had raised.

He expressed hope that Iran would take seriously the sextet proposals during the Moscow round.
