Warships heading to Mediterranean are not carrying helicopters for Syria - Rosoboronexport

MOSCOW. July 13 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian state arms exporter Rosoboronexport has denied media reports claiming that the warships heading to the Mediterranean may be carrying Mil Mi-25 helicopters repaired for Syria.

"A Rosoboronexport official confirms that the repaired Mi-25 helicopters to be returned to Syria, remain aboard the Alaed vessel which is sailing from Murmansk to another Russian port," Rosoboronexport said in a statement, received by Interfax-AVN on Friday.
