Tymoshenko's German doctors have presented all recommendations on her treatment - defender
KHARKIV. Aug 2 (Interfax) - Serhiy Vlasenko, a public defender of former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, has denied a remark by the head of an international medical panel that doctors from the Berlin-based Charite clinic had not issued their recommendations on Tymoshenko's treatment at Central Clinical Hospital No. 5 as of August 1.
"As far as I know, all documents [concerning Tymoshenko's treatment] that were supposed to be at the Kharkiv Central Clinical Hospital are at the Kharkiv Central Clinical Hospital, and all documents that were supposed to be at the Health Ministry are at the Health Ministry," Vlasenko told Interfax on Thursday.
The international medical panel has drafted a statement, but it has still not been made public because of the Ukrainian party, he said.
"As far as I know, a joint statement by the international commission was being prepared. At least the German party has already passed its draft statement to the commission, but the commission is so far keeping silent. Despite the fact that they [Ukrainian members of the international commission] first said publicly that they fully agreed with everything that the Germans said, as soon as the Germans left, they started playing the old Ukrainian bureaucratic game called football," Vlasenko said.
