NOVATEK might up gas production 7%-11% in 2012 - Mikhelson
MOSCOW. Aug 3. (Interfax) - Gas major NOVATEK might boost oil production 7%-11% this year, the company's o-owner and CEO Leonid Mikhelson told journalists.
"I think that for the year growth will be somewhere around 7%-11%," he said, adding that the company had originally planned to raise production by 6%-7% in 2012.
Last year, NOVATEK produced 52.9 billion cubic meters of gas (excluding associated gas). In the first half of this year, its production grew by over 11%.
