Police say have detained suspected organizer of extremist organization in Bashkortostan
UFA. Sept 11 (Interfax) - Officials from Bashkortostan's Interior Ministry's center for the prevention of extremism have detained a man suspected of organizing on the territory of the republic the international terrorist organization Hizb-ut-Tahrir, which is banned in Russia.
"The suspect was detained on September 8 in Chelyabinsk, where he resided, and was taken to Bashkortostan, where the crime was committed," the ministry press service has reported.
