Khabarovsk prosecutor's office recommends blocking access to Innocence of Muslims
KHABAROVSK. Sept 20 (Interfax) - The Khabarovsk regional prosecutor's office has warned a number of local Internet providers about the impermissibility of placing extremist materials online, the office said on Thursday.
"An inspection revealed that the Innocence of Muslims film, which presents the life of the Islamic prophet in an insulting form, was placed on YouTube and some other websites. The film gives the impressions that this religion and its followers are flawed and has a clearly extremist connotation," the office said.
The warnings were given to nine of the largest Internet providers of the region by the prosecutors of Khabarovsk and Komsomolsk-on-Amur.
