Moscow 2013 budget draft forecasts 8% rise in revenue

MOSCOW. Sept 24 (Interfax) - Moscow budget revenue is expected to grow 8% year-on-year in 2013 to 1.49 trillion rubles, Deputy Mayor Andrei Sharonov said at a Moscow City Duma Budget Commission meeting Monday.

Spending will go up 5.3% to 1.69 trillion rubles and there will be a deficit of 200.4 billion rubles, he said.

The draft bill on the Moscow budget for 2013 and planning period for 2014 and 2015," which Sharonov presented at the meeting, shows that tax revenues will grow 9%, while non-tax revenues are expected to drop by 9%.

The draft bill says that in calculating budget revenue the following GRP growth forecasts were used: 4% in 2013, 4.6% in 2014 and 5% in 2015.

Consumer prices are expected to climb 5% in 2013, retail trade turnover - 5%, fixed capital investment - 7% and industrial production - 4%

If the Moscow City Duma pass the draft, budget investment in 2013 will total 461.4 billion rubles.
