Bank of Moscow to sell its Serbian subsidiary

MOSCOW. Oct 5 (Interfax) - Bank of Moscow (BOM) plans to sell its Serbian subsidiary, Bank of Moscow (Belgrade), BOM's deputy CEO Mikhail Berezov said at briefing on Friday.

When asked about future plans for the Serbian bank, he said "we're selling it."

VTB's senior vice-president, Dmitry Pyanov, said that work is now underway to find a buyer. "VTB Capital is doing this," he said.

Bank of Moscow was sixth biggest bank by assets in Russia for the first half of 2012 according to the Interfax-100 ranking compiled by the Interfax Center for Economic Analysis.
