Gas production in Russia slips 2.9% in 10M

MOSCOW. Nov 2 (Interfax) - There was 531.762 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas extracted in Russia in January-October, a 2.9% year-on-year decrease, according to the latest Fuel and Energy Dispatch Center (TsDU TEK) figures.

There was 54.188 bcm of gas produced in Russia last month.

OJSC Gazprom extracted 391.326 bcm in January-October and 39.472 bcm just in October.

Independent gas producer OJSC NOVATEK extracted 41.89 bcm of gas over the ten months and 4.360 bcm in October. Other oil and gas outfits produced 21.554 bcm (2.219 bcm) and PSA operators 21.54 bcm (2.202 bcm).

Vertically integrated oil companies produced 55.452 bcm of gas over the period and 5.935 bcm last month.

The most gas produced in January-October was extracted by Lukoil - 13.896 bcm (1.491 bcm in October), TNK-BP Holding - 10.888 bcm (1.162 bcm), Rosneft - 10.286 bcm (1.1 bcm), Surgutneftegas - 10.264 bcm (1.041 bcm), and Gazprom Neft - 7.005 bcm (0.757 bcm).
