Russia's response to Magnitsky Act passage in U.S. will be tough - diplomat

MOSCOW. Nov 16 (Interfax) - Moscow already knows how it could respond to the possible adoption of the Magnitsky Act by the U.S. Congress, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.

"We certainly know it. We discussed it at all stages of the debate on the so-called Magnitsky bill," he said, answering a question from Interfax.

"I can confirm that our response will be tough, but not necessarily symmetrical," the diplomat said.
